Alright, I know we’re not really supposed to be discussing this, but I’m curious – what’s the top speed you guys have hit in your Mustangs? I’ve got a 2018 Mustang GT with the 5.0L V8, and while I know the factory claims around 155 mph is the electronically limited top speed, I’m wondering if anyone’s managed to push it further, especially with any mods.
I’ve only taken mine up to around 130 mph (on a closed course, of course!
), but I know some of you have probably hit higher speeds. Anyone here broken past that limiter with a tune or anything? Also, how stable does it feel at those speeds? The car feels planted up to 130, but I wonder if it gets sketchy beyond that. Let’s hear those numbers, but keep it legal and safe, folks!
