Ford Mustang radio problems - and they are very annoying

Has anyone else dealt with something similar? Any advice on what else I can try?

I’ve run into a similar issue with my Mustang’s radio before, and it can definitely be annoying. Since you’ve already tried resetting the system, checking fuses, and updating the software, the problem might be related to a loose connection somewhere behind the radio or within the wiring harness.

One thing you could try is to pull the radio unit out and check the wiring connections to make sure everything is secure. If that doesn’t solve it, the issue could be with the radio unit itself, which might need replacing. Another possibility is a faulty antenna connection, which could cause the signal to drop intermittently. If you’re comfortable with it, check the antenna connection to see if it’s loose or damaged. If all else fails, it might be time to have a professional take a look to diagnose the issue more thoroughly.
