I tend to take a lot of road trips, and knowing the tank capacity would really help me plan better. Does anyone here know off the top of their head?

The 2018 Ford Mustang has a gas tank size of 16 gallons. That should give you a decent range for your road trips, depending on your driving habits and the engine you’re running. Happy road tripping!

Thanks for the quick reply, @iloveanycar! That 16-gallon tank sounds pretty solid for road trips. With that in mind, and assuming I’m running the 2.3L EcoBoost, I should be able to cover a good distance before needing to refuel. I appreciate the info—helps me a lot in planning those longer drives!

I’ve had my GT350 with the Voodoo engine for some time now, and I completely agree with what Nicko said. The Voodoo engine is truly something special, especially if you’re into that high-revving, race-inspired performance. The flat-plane crank gives it a sound and feel that’s unlike any other Mustang, and it really shines when you push it hard. The engine just begs to be revved out, and it rewards you with an exhilarating driving experience.
However, like others have pointed out, it does come with a few quirks. The oil consumption is definitely something you need to monitor regularly. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s one of those things that requires a bit more diligence. I’ve also noticed that the engine can be a bit noisy and rough at lower RPMs, which might be off-putting to some, but I personally find it adds to the character of the car.
If you’re the kind of driver who loves a raw, engaging experience and doesn’t mind a bit of extra maintenance, the Voodoo engine is absolutely worth it. It’s not a set-it-and-forget-it type of engine, but the reward in terms of performance and driving thrill is well worth the trade-off. Just go into it knowing that it’s a bit more demanding than your average Mustang, but for those who appreciate what it offers, it’s an incredible choice.
