Experiences with Mustang PP2 wheels: Do they improve performance?
#1
I’m considering upgrading to the PP2 wheels on my Mustang GT. For those who have made the switch, did you notice a significant improvement in performance or handling? Are they worth the investment, or should I stick with aftermarket options? I’m mostly concerned about grip and stability at higher speeds.

I upgraded to the PP2 wheels on my 2019 Mustang GT a while back, and I’ve definitely noticed a difference. The grip is noticeably better, especially in corners, and the wider stance gives the car a more planted feel at higher speeds. They’re designed specifically for the Mustang, so they work really well with the suspension and overall setup of the car.

In terms of handling, there’s a clear improvement—turn-in feels sharper, and the car just feels more stable overall. If you’re doing a lot of spirited driving or track days, I think they’re worth the investment. That said, they are a bit heavier than some aftermarket options, so if weight is a big concern for you, that’s something to consider. But for overall performance and a factory-fit look, the PP2 wheels are a solid choice.
