Hey everyone, I’m looking to add some mods to my Mustang to really boost horsepower. I’ve done some research and heard that cold-air intakes, a new exhaust, and maybe a tune are good starting points, but I’m wondering if there are any other mods out there that could give me a little more power without totally draining my wallet.
Ideally, I’m looking for something that’ll make a noticeable difference when I hit the gas—like, I want to feel it, not just see a slight bump on paper, you know? I’ve heard people rave about headers and even superchargers, but I’m not sure if that’s overkill for what I’m aiming for. I don’t track the car or anything, but I do want that extra punch when I’m driving around.
Also, has anyone done a tune themselves? Is it worth trying, or should I stick with a pro shop to avoid messing things up? Let me know what mods gave you the best bang for your buck—whether it's exhaust, intake, or even something I haven’t considered yet!
