I’m new to the forum and just got my hands on a 2008 Mustang GT with the 4.6L V8. The car’s got about 85,000 miles on it, and it’s in pretty good shape overall, but the previous owner didn’t leave any records, so I’m trying to figure out what kind of oil this engine needs. I’ve read that using the wrong oil can mess with the performance, especially on an engine with this kind of mileage, and I definitely don’t want that happening. Could someone with experience recommend the right oil type for this engine? Thanks a lot!
