What are the symptoms of a bad front sway bar link on a Ford Mustang?

Hey guys, I'm getting a weird rattling sound when going over bumps in my ‘08 Mustang. Could it be the front sway bar link? I heard that can cause handling issues too. Anyone know what else to look out for before I start throwing parts at the problem?
