Which is the best DIY car window tint for a Mustang’s rear window?
#1
Okay, tinting the rear window seems like the hardest part. It’s so curvy, and I’ve heard that getting the film to stick smoothly without wrinkles or bubbles can be a nightmare. For anyone who's tackled this, what’s the best DIY window tint kit for a Mustang’s rear window specifically? Did you go for one of those pre-cut kits, or are they just marketing gimmicks that don’t actually fit well?

I’m thinking of doing it myself to save some money, but I’ve seen mixed reviews on whether pre-cut kits are worth it. Plus, I’m a bit nervous I’ll end up with bubbles or creases that’ll haunt me every time I look in the rearview mirror. Also, should I go for ceramic or standard tint? Is ceramic worth the extra cost for heat reduction, or is it overkill for a DIY job?

Any tips, tricks, or horror stories to share? I could definitely use some advice before I potentially mess this up! 😬 Would love to hear about your experiences – and if anyone has a good YouTube tutorial recommendation, drop that too!
