How much horsepower gain can I expect from an intake manifold upgrade?

Thinking about upgrading my intake manifold and was wondering what kind of HP gains I could expect. I’ve read you can get anywhere from 10 to 20 hp depending on the model, but is that realistic? Anyone actually done this on their Mustang? If so, did it feel like a big difference? Worth the money?
