Looking at a 2004 Mustang GT and curious about its horsepower. I’ve seen the factory numbers, but does it hold up after all these years? Any owners out there who’ve tested theirs recently? Still got that muscle?

How to fix a cylinder 2 misfire code on a Mustang? |

I’ve been dealing with a cylinder 2 misfire code on my Mustang, and it’s starting to drive me crazy. The check engine light came on, and after scanning the code, it pointed to cylinder 2. I’m trying to figure out what might be causing the issue before I start tearing things apart. From what I’ve read, it could be something as simple as a bad spark plug or coil, but I’m not ruling out the possibility of an injector problem or even something more serious like a compression issue.
I’ve noticed the car running a bit rougher than usual, especially at idle, and there’s a noticeable loss of power when I accelerate. I’m not sure where to start – should I replace the spark plug and coil first, or is there something else I should check? Anyone else dealt with this and found a solution? What worked for you? Any advice would be appreciated before I start throwing parts at it.

The 3-Valve Mustang engine is a bit of an unsung hero in the Mustang lineup. While the 4-Valve engines often steal the spotlight, the 3-Valve has its own loyal following for good reasons. It's known for delivering a solid balance of performance and reliability, making it a favorite among those who appreciate a Mustang that's powerful yet practical. The 3-Valve’s unique design allows for improved airflow and combustion, which translates into better throttle response and a satisfying growl that many enthusiasts love. For those who have driven one, there's something special about the way the 3-Valve delivers power – it’s not just about raw numbers, but the overall driving experience that keeps people coming back. If you're thinking of picking one up, what quirks or qualities should you be aware of?

Does anyone know the exact horsepower of the 1995 Mustang GT? I’ve seen numbers vary depending on the source, and I’m curious if anyone has the definitive answer. Also, how does it compare to newer models? Still got some power left, or is it showing its age?

Considering a set of Fullway tires for my Mustang, but I’m not sure if they can handle the way I like to drive. Anybody running these? How’s the grip and durability, especially when you push them a little hard?
