Video Want to know Mustang V6 0-60 times
Posted by: iloveanycar - 08-21-2024, 07:46 PM - Forum: Questions - No Replies

How does the Mustang V6 compare to other models when it comes to 0-60 times? I’ve heard it’s usually around 5.5 to 6 seconds, depending on the year and any mods. It’s obviously not as quick as the GT or GT500, but I’m wondering if it’s still a good option for those who want a mix of power and fuel efficiency. Has anyone done any mods, like intake or exhaust upgrades, to boost their V6’s performance?

Does anyone know the exact weight of the Mustang GTD?
Posted by: iloveanycar - 08-21-2024, 07:41 PM - Forum: Questions - No Replies

I’m trying to find the exact weight of the new Mustang GTD. I’ve seen different numbers floating around, but nothing official. Does anyone have accurate information? Also, if you’ve driven one, how does the weight affect the handling compared to other Mustang models? Curious if the weight distribution makes it feel more balanced on the track.

What's the best way to use a Mustang VIN decoder for my 2024 model?
Posted by: iloveanycar - 08-21-2024, 07:36 PM - Forum: Questions - Replies (1)

Has anyone here used a VIN decoder to get detailed info on their 2024 Mustang GT with the 5.0L V8? I’m curious if it really helps in figuring out all the build details like the engine, transmission, and factory options. Also, do you have any recommendations for a reliable decoder? I’ve heard some online tools might not have the latest data for the 2024 models. If you’ve done this before, I’d appreciate any tips or if you could help me interpret the results!

How does the Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 perform on a Ford Mustang?
Posted by: iloveanycar - 08-21-2024, 07:31 PM - Forum: Tires - No Replies

Has anyone tried the Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires on their Mustang? I'm considering these for my 2024 GT, and I’m curious how they hold up in both dry and wet conditions. Do they improve handling noticeably, especially when compared to other performance tires? Any feedback on road noise or tread life would also be appreciated!

Can You Drive a Ford Mustang with a Bad Oil Pump?
Posted by: iloveanycar - 08-21-2024, 10:39 AM - Forum: Engine Oil - No Replies

Hey folks, I’ve got a bit of a concern with my Ford Mustang—I think my oil pump might be going bad. Is it safe to keep driving it until I can get it looked at, or should I stop driving immediately? I’ve heard that a bad oil pump can cause serious engine damage, and I really don’t want to risk it. What should I do if I suspect the oil pump is failing? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Power Window Fuse Location in a Ford Mustang

Hey everyone, I’m having an issue with my Ford Mustang—my driver’s side power window suddenly stopped working. I’m thinking it might be a blown fuse. Does anyone know where the fuse for the power windows is located? I’ve heard it’s in the interior fuse box, possibly under the dashboard on the passenger side, but I’m not entirely sure.

Do Bigger Tires Lift Your Ford Mustang?
Posted by: iloveanycar - 08-20-2024, 08:54 PM - Forum: Tires - No Replies

Installing bigger tires on your Ford Mustang can give it a slightly higher stance, but it’s not the same as a suspension lift. The height increase is generally minimal, depending on how much larger the tires are compared to stock. If you’re looking for a noticeable lift, you would need to install a suspension lift kit in addition to the larger tires. Also, keep in mind that bigger tires may require modifications to avoid rubbing, especially when turning.
