Shocked 2013 Ford Mustang radio problems
Posted by: Nicko - 07-19-2024, 03:54 AM - Forum: Head Unit Modifications - No Replies

Lately, I've been dealing with a frustrating issue with the radio in my Ford Mustang. It started off with occasional static and poor reception, which I figured might be just interference or a minor connection issue. But then, a few days ago, the radio began cutting out entirely. At first, it would just lose signal for a few seconds and come back, but now it sometimes won't turn on at all. When it does, the sound is either really distorted or just full of static. I've checked all the obvious things like the antenna and connections, and even did a factory reset, but nothing seems to work. The weird part is, it seems to get worse when I'm driving at higher speeds or after the car's been running for a while. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any suggestions on what to check next would be really helpful.

Charging System Service Now warning on my Ford Mustang
Posted by: v8ismyheart - 06-21-2024, 11:12 AM - Forum: Electrical - No Replies

Hi everyone, I'm a bit stumped here. My car just flashed a "Charging System Service Now" warning, and I'm trying to figure out what's going on. I haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary—no flickering lights, no trouble starting—but this warning has me concerned. I know it could be a number of things, from a bad alternator to a loose belt, but I’m hoping someone here might have had a similar experience and can point me in the right direction. Appreciate any tips!

Hi there, I’m dealing with a strange issue on my 2018 Mustang where the radio has completely stopped working. I’m thinking it could be a blown fuse, but I can’t find my manual anywhere. Does anyone happen to have a fuse box diagram for this year?

Resetting climate control in a Mustang - who knows the correct order?
Posted by: Nicko - 06-18-2024, 04:43 PM - Forum: Guides - No Replies

Can someone explain the proper steps to reset the climate control on a Mustang? I’ve come across a few different methods, like disconnecting the battery or holding down specific buttons on the control panel, but I’m not sure which one is the most effective. What’s the best way to do it?

Ford Mustang "Charging System Service Now" error
Posted by: v8ismyheart - 05-21-2024, 11:23 PM - Forum: Questions - Replies (1)

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a "Charging System Service Now" warning on my dash, and I'm a bit puzzled. This just popped up today, and my battery is fairly new, so I'm not sure what's going on. I haven’t noticed any issues with the lights dimming or any electrical problems. Has anyone else dealt with this? Is it something as simple as a loose connection, or should I be worried about the alternator? Any advice before I head to the mechanic would be appreciated!

Hey folks, I’ve got a 2015 Mustang, and I’m trying to troubleshoot an issue with the interior lights not working. I’m suspecting it’s a fuse, but I don’t have the fuse box diagram. Anyone got one handy? Also, if it’s not the fuse, what else should I check? Huh

adlerspeed coilovers review - I installed them and this is what I think...
Posted by: Nicko - 04-23-2024, 02:20 PM - Forum: Suspension - No Replies

I recently installed Adlerspeed coilovers on my car, and after putting a few hundred miles on them, I thought I’d share my experience.

First off, the installation was pretty straightforward. I’m no pro mechanic, but with some basic tools and a bit of patience, I got them on without too much trouble. They come with decent instructions, though I had to look up a few YouTube videos to be sure I was doing it right.

Once installed, the difference in ride quality was immediately noticeable. The car feels much more planted, especially around corners. It’s like night and day compared to the stock suspension. I also appreciate that they’re adjustable, so I could fine-tune the height to get the stance just right.

That being said, they are on the stiffer side. If you’re looking for a super smooth, comfortable ride, these might not be for you. On rougher roads, you’re definitely going to feel it. But if performance is your priority, the trade-off is worth it. The handling is sharper, and the car feels way more responsive.

In terms of build quality, they seem solid. No weird noises or issues so far. The finish is nice, and they look like they’ll hold up well over time. I’ve driven them through some pretty rough conditions, and they’re still going strong.

Overall, I’m really happy with the Adlerspeed coilovers. They’ve improved my car’s handling without breaking the bank. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option that still delivers solid performance, I’d definitely recommend giving them a try.
