How to identify what trim my Ford Mustang is? |

Hey everyone, I’m a bit lost here as a new Mustang owner. I just picked up a used Mustang – it’s a 2017 model, but I’m honestly not sure what trim it is. It looks like a GT, but I can’t be 100% sure, and I’m trying to figure it out. I know different trims come with various features like leather seats, a premium sound system, performance upgrades, and all that. My Mustang has leather seats, dual-zone climate control, and what looks like the SYNC 3 infotainment system with navigation, but beyond that, I’m not sure what else sets it apart.
Is there an easy way to figure out what trim I’ve got? I’ve heard you can look it up using the VIN, but I’m not sure where to find the full breakdown. Does the VIN reveal everything, or is it hidden somewhere else on the car? I don’t want to guess – I’d like to know for sure, especially if I plan on upgrading anything. If anyone knows a quick trick to identifying the trim, I’d really appreciate the help. Also, what are the specific features I should be looking for to distinguish between the trims? Thanks in advance!

Key not detected in my Mustang – what could be the issue? |

So, I had this annoying problem today – my Mustang suddenly flashed the “key not detected” message on the dash while I was trying to start it. The weird thing is, the key fob was literally right in my hand, so it’s definitely not that I left it somewhere. First thing I did was change the batteries in the fob (you know, just in case), but that didn’t fix the issue.
I’m scratching my head here. Is this a common problem with Mustangs? I’ve read that sometimes the fob just loses connection with the car, but is there a way to reset it myself, or do I have to bite the bullet and take it to the dealer? I’ve also heard that there might be interference from other electronic devices, but I wasn’t carrying anything unusual.
Anyone have any tricks to get the car to recognize the key again? Should I be looking at the fob itself or could this be a deeper problem with the car’s receiver? Any advice would be super helpful before I go spend a fortune at the dealer!

Why are my brake lights staying on in my Ford Mustang? |

Alright, I’m dealing with something strange here – my brake lights just won’t turn off, even after I’ve parked and turned the car off. At first, I thought maybe I was imagining it, but nope, they’re on constantly, and I’m starting to worry that it’ll drain my battery. I’ve checked the brake pedal to make sure it's not stuck, but everything seems normal there.
Is this some kind of electrical glitch? Could it be a bad brake light switch? I’ve heard that can cause this issue. I’m hoping it’s a quick fix and not some deep wiring problem. I don’t want to take it to the shop just yet if I can avoid it, but I also don’t want to wake up to a dead battery. Anyone else had this happen with their Mustang? Any quick fixes or tips before I start pulling fuses or calling a mechanic? Thanks in advance!

How to fix a squeaking steering wheel on a Ford Mustang? |

Hey everyone, I've noticed my steering wheel has started squeaking when I turn it, especially at low speeds. Is this something I can fix myself? Maybe some WD-40? Or is it a bigger issue I should be worried about? Anyone had this problem before? I drive a 2017 Mustang, in case that helps.

Looking to upgrade my suspension, but I’m torn between coilovers and just sticking with the stock setup. I want better handling without totally sacrificing comfort since I drive this thing daily. What’s your experience with coilovers? Are they worth the hassle?"

I just bought new wheels for my 'Stang, and now I’m debating between hub centric rings and upgraded lug nuts. Which one is better for keeping things smooth? I’ve heard arguments for both. Any pros and cons I should know about before pulling the trigger?

Recommended Floor Mats for a 2021 Ford Mustang Interior |

Okay, weird question, but I’m on the hunt for the perfect floor mats for my 2021 Mustang, and I’m torn between rubber and carpet options. I want something that fits really snugly and won’t slide around while I’m driving—I had that issue with my old mats, and it drove me nuts, constantly having to adjust them after getting in and out of the car.
I live in an area where we get a mix of weather—rain, snow, and some dirt roads—so I’m leaning toward rubber mats for better protection against mud and water. But on the flip side, I do love the look and feel of carpet mats. They just give the interior that clean, classy vibe.
Has anyone had experience with either? I want something durable that doesn’t wear out quickly and is easy to clean, especially after the winter months. I’m also thinking about getting custom-fit mats, but I’m not sure which brand to trust. Any recommendations would be super helpful!
